The Kensington Historic Tread
The new Kensington Historic tread, designed for
the straight staircase, was inspired by a turn-of-the-
century cast iron stair found in historic Georgetown,
Washington, DC. With a raised linear pattern, this
tread provides superior grip making it ideal for use
in all weather conditions.
Project of the Year
Steptoe & Wife is proud to be part of EYA’s Chatham
Square project in Alexandria, Virginia, recipient of
numerous awards including “Project of the Year, 2006”
by Builder Magazine. Kensington stairs and railings
were used for the project at Chatham Square.

New Premium Finishes
Steptoe now offers two new designer premium
finishes, available for all three staircase models:
Gun Metal Pewter and Dark Satin Bronze.
The standard Satin Black finish is still a customer
favorite.
