Steptoe & Wife Antiques Ltd. has been a fixture in the Toronto design
community since 1972. Originally known as an importer of English antiques,
Steptoe operated a successful retail antique business in the Yorkville area
of Toronto until 1978.
Steptoe subsequently pioneered the development of several aspects of the
renovation and restoration industry and now specializes in architectural
metal products. Steptoe’s reputation has been built on many years of growing
strong relationships with our customers in North America and abroad, and
within our industry.
Company president, Bernard Snitman, is a member of CAPHC, the Canadian
Association of Professional Heritage Consultants. And yes, there is a wife.
Marna Snitman works in the company and together, she and Bernard founded
and operate this thriving business.
Steptoe’s showroom and factory are located at 90 Tycos Drive in the Design
and Décor District of Toronto. (Tycos Drive runs west off of Dufferin Street
and is six blocks south of Lawrence Avenue West and seven blocks north of
Eglinton Avenue West). Please see map 1, and map 2.
Showroom hours are: 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday - Friday.
